Secret to cleaning Sheer curtains?

I have these Sheer's in B's room and they are so gross already from the sun. Does anyone have a secret to cleaning them? I've had them dry cleaned and that didn't work.

We have sheer curtains and I wash them on delicate, but they are plain.

We have the same ones and I was going to suggest dry cleaning.  I think that is what the tag says to do.  They do get gross though.  We had one set at our old house and bought a 2nd set for our new house because DD had another window in her new room.  Well, the old ones are practically YELLOW compared to the new ones.  So gross.  I keep the gingham ones closed over that set and only really open the newer ones.  Sorry that didn't help, did it?

JW, not really. lol. I've already tried dry cleaning and it did nothing. Mine are all yellow from the sun too and I'm afraid to wash it myself becuase of the stupid design (which I LOVE).

Can you try washing it by hand?

I would handwash them in woolite and then hang them to dry.

maybe try handwashing them with oxi-clean??? other then that i have no idea :-/
