What age did your little ones really get it...my son turned 2 last week and he is starting to notice when to use the potty but he runs up to me and says no potty mommy lol...I was just wondering what age your little ones were?
DS is almost 2.5 and he's nearly fully PTed. He still has the occasional accident, but he wears underwear to bed (he started insisting on this two days ago) and wakes up dry.
IMO he did this early. Boys typically want to PT later, from everything I've read. I was really thinking we would wait until he was closer to 3 to PT, but he was ready, so we went for it. I followed his lead on this.

DD was interested in the potty around 18 months, but couldn't figure out how to make herself go (or hold it to make it to the potty) until she was around 2 1/2. I totally took her lead because she has a kidney condition and her docs said not to push it. As a result, when she was ready she was completely trained day and night in a week.

My DD trained crazy early. She was done (except night and nap) at 18 months.
I think starting shortly after two is very normal/typical.
