I into'd myself last week after finding out my dh had severe abnormality in the morph dept (2%) for his first SA, but everything else was good. He will have another SA in month to see if there is any change/improvements. Has anyone ever heard of morph going up on the second SA? Just wondering how common it is?

Re: MFI - morph issues
We had no changes to the morph (0%) between 1st and 2nd SA. Count and motility did go up.
Hope you have better luck!
You very well could see an improvment!! It really takes more than one S/A to determine MFI.
Although some RE's (mine inculded) feel that if all other counts are normal, low morph will not prevent you from getting pg. It just may take a little longer.
We have low morph and are doing IUI's now.
DD #1 {04-19-2004}
Secondary IF: Severe MFI (low testosterone, low count, low morph, & very low motility) & Annovulation
After 22 months IUI # 3 Clomid + Follistim = BFP
DD #2 {12-31-2009}
2 more years of failed IF treatments and a failed adoption TTC #3

Thanks so much for your replies, ladies. I guess everyone is different. I will hope that SA #2 is better, but I wont hold my breath. The good news is that his counts were really high (160M), so hopefully that will work in our favor.
fredalina - GL with your dh's results. Thanks for posting when you get them.
