Femme...

I didn't realize the Craftsman style house was your dream house, too. ?We sometimes just drive though Pasadena drooling at them there. ?LOL?

I grew up in a Victorian house in the "historic" district of my hometown. ?It was a little creepy---almost felt haunted. ?But very cool nooks and crannies.?

  • We're aiming to rent a Victorian (well, one floor of a Victorian) in MA. It's so beautiful.

I love Craftsman houses, though. OMG, the details! The wood! Just beautiful.

Actually, if I'm REALLY dreaming, I would say I'd love to own a Frank Lloyd Wright house. How awesome would that be??

  • New England Victorians are so beautiful! I hope you get it! ?Are you going to be in Somerville??

I'd be too intimidated to live in an actual FLW house! ?That's like living in an architectural church, kwim?! LOL?

  • True. I guess I'd just like to own one and live next door to it so I could walk around and admire everything as much as I'd like.

DH almost got a job in Grand Rapids, MI, and there's a really gorgeous FLW house there. We looked at a couple places across the street from it. I could die happy just living in the same neighborhood as a FLW house. :)

  • *butting in*  Craftsman style houses are my favorite, too.  We live in a Craftsman bungalow.  :)
  • FFG, I'm jealous!
