Really runny nose with teething?

A runny nose is common with teething, right?  Is it usually bad enough to cause congestion and coughing (from post-nasal drip maybe?)?

Re: Really runny nose with teething?

  • I don't think my DD has ever really had a *cold I think she's always just been teething and it sounds just like what you're experiencing.  It seems to clear up instantly, just watch for coughing or fever and hopefully your DC will feel better!

  • My daughter coughs because of the drip I think.

Watch for the green slime too, if it goes from clear to green, could be infection.

We are currently battling clear REALLY runny nose...teething.

    Good LUCK!!!

  • Yes, my daughter had a runny nose with 2 of her top teeth.
