I like it but don't love it. It reminds me of To Kill a Mockingbird too because of the author's name - but for me that is a good association...I love that book!!
I really dislike Harper. I don't think it sounds pretty, and it's sooo trendy. Katherine is pretty though!
see, i'm not the only one to say it's trendy. i think people need to realize that just because a name isn't high up on the name charts (yet) that it isn't trendy. at the beginning of every trend there are only a few, that's what makes it the beginning... not to mention the continuation of the occupation name trend.
for example, think of the first people to name their daughters tiffany and heather. they probably thought "nobody uses that name, it's unique!" but now they're so overused that nobody will touch them. just something to think about.

After seeing this name mentioned over and over for the past few months, I still dislike it! When I first saw this name, I immediately felt it was masculine. Even though I now associate it with a girl's name, (bc so many people seem to be considering it for a girl) it has not grown on me one bit.

Nell Harper Lee was the author, not a character.
I don't like Harper at all. It makes me think of someone harping on being a harpie.
I think Katherine is pretty.?
