I love it!  It is very sophisticated and pretty.  Harper is a very rare name, not trendy at all. Trendy would be Madison, Jaden, etc.

I guess it depends on where you live because Harper is not a popular name in my area.  It's a really pretty name and its different... I like it!

I like it but don't love it.  It reminds me of To Kill a Mockingbird too because of the author's name - but for me that is a good association...I love that book!!

see, i'm not the only one to say it's trendy. i think people need to realize that just because a name isn't high up on the name charts (yet) that it isn't trendy. at the beginning of every trend there are only a few, that's what makes it the beginning... not to mention the continuation of the occupation name trend.

for example, think of the first people to name their daughters tiffany and heather. they probably thought "nobody uses that name, it's unique!" but now they're so overused that nobody will touch them. just something to think about.

Both are nms but I like Katherine. I only know boys named Harper.

After seeing this name mentioned over and over for the past few months, I still dislike it! When I first saw this name, I immediately felt it was masculine. Even though I now associate it with a girl's name, (bc so many people seem to be considering it for a girl) it has not grown on me one bit.
