My parents rock!

I called my parents last night to invite them over for dinner Tuesday night.  I told my Dad that DH was going out of town for the week and would like the company.  My mom called today and invited DS and I over for dinner tonight and also asked if we wanted to go out to dinner on Thursday.  Sometime I still love being taken care of by my parents!  They live just a few blocks away so it can be super convenient to have them so close!

    aww thats super nice!! make me miss living close to my parents more!! dh parents are not so nice....

    I always tell myself and dh that I HOPE I AM 1/2 THE PARENT TO MY GIRLS THAT MY MOM AND DAD WHERE FOR ME!! They are wonderful... Not perfect!! My mom has a rough time showing emotions, but she would do anything and everything in her power for us kids!

    My parents are the same way.  We all slept over at their house one night when DH was away for the week.   It is very nice being "spoiled".
