Did I overeat or am I having contrax?

My stomach is as hard as a rock and my sides and lower back are radiating with pain.  I just had an entire burrito from Chipotle with chips and a soda.  Then I got a frozen caramel from Panera on the way home.  I'm sitting on the couch now and my entire middle (belly, sides, back) is killing me.

Re: Did I overeat or am I having contrax?

  • How long does it last? ?Is it coming and going?

I did notice around 38 weeks with my second baby that I would get more Braxton Hicks contractions after dinner. ?They would stay about 10 minutes apart for an hour, then stop.?

  • Sounds like a BH contrax. Is it different from what they normally feel like? I mean obviously it's different or you wouldn't have posted, but is it just more intense, or completely different? I got them continuously with DS and thought maybe they were light early contrax (they were more frequent and intense than with DD), but when I went in for my c-section, they said they were just BH.
  • According to my ob, bh shouldn't be painful.  It is entirely possible that they could be real.  I had a lot of bh about two weeks before I delivered, and they were never painful, and they weren't really into my back.  I don't know, though.  I'm sure everyone is different.
