The deal with the buyers on my house looks like it's falling apart. They can't sell their place, and now I have lost MONTHS of marketing time. I have a kickout clause, so it was technically not "off the market", but realtors stop showing places that have contracts on them.
They KNEW their place wouldn't sell (I've come to find out that another deal on a house in our neighborhood fell through for the same reason) and put in a contract on mine anyway. Bastiges.
I have been packing everything. My house looks like sh*t and will never show as well as it did 2.5 months ago.
I am trying not to cry right now.

dont know why people put in a contract with a stipulation if their own house sells. Its stupid.
I'm sooo sorry sweetie!
From your mouth to God's ears...
I hope that happens with us. If I lose the deal on my new dream house because of these people, I will have a hard time not turning homicidal.

Oh that SUCKS!
I am soooo sorry for you (having my own sh*tty real estate experience right now, so I feel your pain) ?
I'm so sorry. How frustrating.
I guess in a way, the slow market could work in your favor on your dream house....in that maybe no one will jump on it in the meantime!
I'm so sorry! I can't even imagine how frustrating that must be. I hope someone new sweeps in and buys your house right up. Some first-time homebuyer eager to make a purchase to get the $8,000 with no real estate baggage.
((hugs)) I'd be sobbing in a corner.
