rapid heartbeat

When I first got pregnant my heart would start racing at random times. I talked to my OB and he wasn't really concerned because it happened very little. It went away but has started to come back. It also seems a lot more frequent then it used to be. Whenever I lay down it seems to happen or when I'm resting. Anybody else deal with this? I'm going to bring it back up to my doctor on wednesday, just wondering if I'm the only person experiencing this.

I had the exact same thing. My dr. said that it was due to my ever increasing blood volume and was nothing to worry about. Mine would race and I would feel it beating all over my body (esp. in my throat and head). I would still bring it up at your appt. but I'd bet that's what it is.

I have it at times too.  It's the worst when I lay down for bed.  It's just an increase in blood volume... so don't worry.

I have it too. Went through all the heart test and everything is normal so I guess I just have to live with it, but it was good to get the reaassurance from my doctor. You prob have nothing to worry about but I'm sure will feel better hearing that from your doctor.
