We have to cancel our cruise today :(  DH is going to ask if they will credit us for a trip at a later date, but I think we only get a 50% refund.  Do you know if they will offer a credit?

    I was figuring you may have to. You need to write the research department and explain the situation. We were at the port a few yrs ago and DH had a seizure and went to the ER. We had to write in to get a credit. As long as you have paperwork to confirm what is going on, they will usually give you a credit. Email me at sabbott@carnival.com and I will give you the addy.?

    GREAT!  Thank you so much. I'll email you today.  I just called DH and told him not to take no for an answer today if he talks to the Carnival lady. Hopefully she will offer us a credit, but we'll do whatever it takes to try to get one!

    LoL. Well the person who booked you can't give you the credit. But you're not in full penalty anyway. So you won't lose it all. What is the sail date again? I know you were going on the Legend.?

    May 10th - 17th.  My Dr. wont sign the papers now (obviously) and I can get medical papers if I need to send them.

    Up until 5/2 you will lose 1/2 of the cruise fare. (you will get the taxes back). But like I said, you'll probably get approved for a credit after you send in the letter. It's best you keep the little one and you safe :):):)
