PIP ~ Paci Fairy success

The Paci Fairy came this weekend & it went awesome.  I have been telling her for the past week that the paci fairy was going to come Friday night & pick up her paci?s & take them to new little babies that need them.  So Fri. night I printed off a fairy picture & we colored it & talked about it.  She put it on a bag & we put her paci?s in it, & put it outside for the fairy to pick it up.  Put her to bed & she asked for her paci I asked her where did they go & she said to babies that need them & went to bed no crying slept all night & has done so ever since. In the a.m. I got her up & had put some glitter on my finger & touched her forehead & cheeks & told her that the fairy had been there & kissed her took her into the bathroom to show her the glitter kisses, she loved it.  She went outside & in place of the paci's was a Cinderella doll.  I guess I underestimated her I thought it was going to be horrible & it has been smooth sailing.  Yea Makenna

YAY!  The same fairy came to our house last summer!  She left some goodies on DD's dresser with fairy dust all over them.  DD was soooooooooo excited!  The fairy also dropped some new ones in DS's crib with fairy dust (he wasn't born yet).  She never looked back!

The fairy kisses just about KILLED me! Such a cute idea! I'm glad it went well ... we'll probably be doing something similar in a few months.

This is really sweet.  Glad it went so well. Neither of my girls used pacis so we never had a paci fairy.

Such a great idea, and it gives me hope.  DS has to give his up (he's almost 3, for crap's sake) and we keep talking about the binky fairy but I am not sure he's buying it.  He only uses it at nap and bedtime, but he LOVEs his bink.
