  I don't know how I missed that you are on bedrest. What is going on???  you have an appt tmw? Sorry for making you retell but I can't seem to find the OP

hey jrandv!  We had a scare Saturday morning with some spotting.  My dr. sent me to L&D and did an internal exam.  Nothing seemed abnormal, so he sent me to get an u/s.  They found that my amniotic fluid is low (not related to the bleeding) and kept me over night.  The next day they did another u/s, nothing changed.  He said it's about half of where it should be.

I'm on bed rest until they figure out what's going on, or until my ambiotic fluid goes up.  When you have your big u/s, ask them to measure your fluid!  The tech at my first u/s just eyed it and said it "looked fine" on her report, so they never would have known if I hadn't had the spotting.

I'm going to see a high risk pregnancy dr. tomorrow.  They are going to do a level 2 u/s and check the blood flow to the baby and look at the organs again to see if it's all flowing properly.

I was wondering the same thing.  I don't know how I missed it!  I am so sorry to hear about that - I can't imagine how scary that must be!  But I'm glad that you are going to be able to see the doctor so soon.  We're all thinking about!  And by all means, don't get out of bed!!

Wow, Sare... you must be so nervous. I'm so glad that you have a doctor who is working hard so you get the care you need. Please, please keep us updated and I will absolutely ask them to measure the fluid!
