Hello everyone!

Thought I would formally introduce myself. I am TTC and recently off bc. My last AF was 3/20. I got a +OPK on 4/20 (my very first try!)  and have been charting temps since. I know I probably should have started this earlier. My question is...will I be able to tell is I O'ed without the temps prior to the +OPK. Sorry if this is a newbie question but I have been reading your posts and I am amazed at what a wealth of knowledge you all are!

    I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but here it goes:

    Positive OPK means your body is gearing up to O...it might O, it might not.

    To confirm O, you need three sustained higher temperatures.  If you weren't charting before the OPK+, it will be hard to cofirm that temp shift.

    Take the FertilityFriend.com tutorials and read TCOYF, GL!

    without knowing any pre-O temps, you can't detect a thermal shift.  Do you have a link to your chart?

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    Hello and welcome!  I agree with the previous posters, try to temp throughout the month and take the FF tutorials, they help a lot.
