Update on Devyn..

Thank you all so MUCH! I have been very strong through this, as well as the rest of our family, and I know we can keep it up! I am very hopeful that he will recover the best he can! Devyn has a lot of support and I just know he can do it!

I do have to say a doctor came in yesterday and told them that pretty much he is not going to recover, she also mentioned that "her god" doesnt have false hope.. or some nonsense like that. Let me remind you, Devyn is in ST JOESEPH's hospital. Who exactly is her god, and why do that to my cousin? I understand some doctors are more realistic, however words like that can damage someone's hope. I pray that Nikki can see past that. I will be making a formal complaint on her and hopefully she will not be in Devyn's room again.

If you havent checked out the blog, please do so. My cousin needs to see other mothers supporting her right now. She feels so guilty and is beating herself up to no end right now. She needs you more than you can imagine. It doesn't matter who you are, but you are a mother/aunt/grandparent/cousin/sister. That is more than anything. Your words are healing and supportive. Her knowing that accidents can happen and she needs to keep faith.

Again, thank you SO MUCH. It means so much to us. I will be back at the hospital tonight and will update on the blog.
