OK, ladies. Help me out with this one. I was concerned the battery in my basal thermometer was going to die, so I bought a new basal thermometer to have on hand as a backup. I'm still using my regular therm for temps this cycle and will use it until it dies. But, I tried a little experiment this morning.
I woke up at 5:30 a.m. after an uninterrupted 7 hours of sleep. I immediately took my temp with my normal therm (Walgreens brand white basal) - got a reading of 97.39. I next took my temp with the new therm (Walgreens brand big pink basal) - got a reading of 97.19?! I know the individual temps are not as useful as the overall chart (looking for thermal shift), but isn't this strange?
Re: Thermometer Experiment - Mixed Results?
Thanks Mrs_Carroll! You used the right word - wacky.
