WHat if I just had sex (with DH) every other day starting on day 10 until the temp shift. I simply cannot tell the difference between each kind of cervical fluid.

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

Re: Anyone not chart CM?
So, you mean that charting CM would help if he had a sperm problem?

Well yes and no, it would be helpful to know when you ovulated because if he had a sperm problem you would only want to have sex every other day around ovulation as opposed to multiple days leading up to it. The chances of him having a problem is not great though so unless you know he has one it is ok to have sex everyday leading up to ovulation. Does that make sense at all? haha

Thanks. I think you are right. I just got frustrated this time, because my temps say I obviously ovulated, but I don't remember any change in my CM. Guess I'll try harder next month.

I still have a hard time trying to figure out what CM is what. But I this little guide has helped me a lot in distinguishing what is what. Maybe it will help you.
How to record the fluid:
Dry: Record your cervical fluid as "dry" if you have no cervical fluid present at all; if you notice no cervical fluid in your underwear; and if the outside of your vagina feels dry. You can expect to see dry days both before ovulation after your period and after ovulation. Record "dry" if you are not able to gather or see any cervical fluid, even if your vagina feels slightly moist inside.
Sticky: After a few days of dryness, there is normally a cervical fluid that is best described as "sticky" or "pasty", but not wet. While this kind of cervical fluid is not conducive to sperm survival these days may be considered as "possibly fertile" if found immediately before ovulation. Record your cervical fluid as "sticky" if it is glue-like, gummy, stiff or crumbly and if it breaks easily and quickly and if it is not easily stretched. It will probably be yellowish or white, but could also be cloudy/clear. You may or may not see some sticky cervical fluid before and after ovulation.
Creamy: This type of cervical mucus can be white or yellowish in color, and either lotiony or milky. It can also be more on the thick side, stretchy or watery.
Watery: Will be exactly that, clear and resembling water. This is highly fertile fluid.
Eggwhite: Will actually resemble raw eggwhites. It can easily be stretched a few inches between the fingers. Eggwhite CM will also remind you of sperm. This kind of fluid and sperm both serve the same purpose by guiding the sperm through to meet up with the egg.
Do what feels right for you but I know CM type on FF would make a big difference as far as giving you CH.
