Hey everyone-

Just wanted to introduce myself. I just went off BC a couple weeks ago and my DH and I are going to start TTC next month (have to do more research on pregnancy and dramamine first) or when we get back from Mexico in June. I'm extremely excited and can't wait to get pregnant. I'm kind of impatient, so I hope it happens fast. Anyway, just thought I'd say hi. I have been on the Babies on the Brain board recently, but I figured I would give this one a try.

P.S. Has anyone heard anything about taking Dramamine when pregnant? I have found a lot of diff. answers through google and my doctor wasn't much help. Thanks

Welcome.  I don't have any info on Dramamine, just wanted to say hi and good luck to you.  FYI, it took me 6 mos off BCP to ovulate, so sometimes you have to be a little patient with your body.  I hope you don't have to wait that long, though.

I'm sure you'll be fine with dramamine, especially if your trip is next month and next month is your first cycle trying.

medlineplus is always a good site if you have a question, but it never lists pregnancy categories.  FYI (if you didn't know) category A is best, B is ok if needed, and C if pros outweigh cons. Category D is positive for defects but can use if really needed, and X is a no-no.
