SA for DH?

Question ... I had my HSG on Wednesday and was diagnosed with bicornuate uterus.  My doctor is referring me to a Fertility Specialist.  I'm just wondering (and hope this isn't stupid question) shouldn't they be testing DH now before Specialist too?  I've wondered since its fairly simple why they haven't, or do I have to ask?

Re: SA for DH?

  • You can always ask them if they think it would be a good idea.

    GL with your treatment!

  • Your RE probably will order one.

Bro, but look how many ants are on this trash can...

  • After I was diagnosed as bicornuate, they took their time moving on to testing DH.  In fact, we were TTC for a year and I had seen an RE before he had his SA.  Just ask and get going on it, they're probably going to order one eventually anyway.  That way everything is out in the open from the start.  GL!

    Ditto this.

We actually started our testing with an RE, since my insurance didn't require a referral.

  • Thank you!  Thats what I was wondering too.  I figure at least if there is a problem with him, then we know everything we're dealing with now.  Thanks and GL to you!
