It's finally happened...Brady slept 11 straight hours without being swaddled...wow...

let's see if this continues, so I'm not retracting the fact he may still be 18 and swaddled some day ?

I remember when my girls first slept straight through the night unswaddled.  I was on pins and needles the whole night waiting for a meltdown...and it never happened!

That is so great!  Let's hope it's a start to a beautiful thing!  :-)

What prompted you to try letting him sleep unswaddled? And did you do a gradual weaning (one arm out, etc.) or cold-turkey?

So he only made it 4 hrs last night, but at least we're in the right direction!

Mach - He started flipping himself over in the swaddle (umm...NO), so we ?swaddle him in his bouncy after an unswaddled meltdown in the crib He goes down ok, so we're onto something...we'll keep practicing... and no..just cold turkey.
