Cake for baptism

Did you have a cake for your child's baptism/dedication..etc? If so, did it have writing on it or something else?

Re: Cake for baptism

  • MIL made a "lamb" cake.  It's tradition in their family. (so no writing)...looked like this....except she also put shaved coconut on the outside (it was cute, but I HATE coconut.  She knew this, but didn't care (Oops....starting to go off on the MIL issues.)Nordic Ware Spring Lamb 3-D Cake Mold

  • Our LO's baptism is next weekend, and our cake is going to say "God Bless Ethan Michael" and it will have a cross on it.  We wanted it to be pretty simple.

  • Our cake will look like this with "Dedicating Jahkai Alexander" written at the top instead of "Holy Communion"
