Anybody have the Boon frog pod?

WTF do I have to do to keep this thing from falling off the wall? It has a giant pad of suction cups on the little mounting piece and it's not enough. It has nothing to do with the weight of it either cuz it will fall even if it's empty. Help me before I throw it out the window!

  • We have the lady bug and haven't had any issues.

Did you follow the cleaning/hanging directions exactly before placing it in your shower? I read somewhere that this was important...so I did:) Anyway, like I said, we have yet to have any issues with ours falling.

Maybe remove it and start over?

  • Ours is still in the box as well, so I'm no help! Sorry!
  • i actually didnt buy it, because all of the reviews said that it will not stay on the wall :(

Ok my neighbor gave me this cuz she said she wasn't using it anymore. I don't have the box so could you fill me in on the cleaning process??? Purdy plz!!

  • Use the mounting tape unstead of the suction cups. Clean the area with alcohol and allow to air dry. mount the small green piece with the mounting tape on it and allow it sit without attaching the frog for 8 hours. I haven't put any toys in mine yet, but it seems very secure. HTH

  • exactly as pp said...alcohol and mounting tape.  Ours has been hanging on the wall for almost 2 years now...and full of toys.  I love it.  It has a little shelf to keep the rinse cup and I hang the washcloths on the frog feet to dry
  • We love ours. It has been hanging in the tub for the past 3 months and it is filled to the brim with bath toys. We take it down once every 1-2 weeks to clean the shower and stick it right back up. (We use the suction cups) You just have to be sure to clean it as the directions instruct otherwise it won't stick very well or for very long.

  • Yep! I washed the area with soap/water...let it dry. Then go over the entire area with alcohol (just use a cotton ball) to really clean it. Let it dry...

Use the tape and only attach the base (no frog). Let it sit for 24 hours. You should be good to go!

Good luck:) Ours is stuffed full of toys and we've not had one problem.

  • Thanks everyone! I'm gonna try to do it with the suction cups and alcohol first since I don't have the mounting tape. If it is still giving me problems then I'll get some tape. Thanks again!!!
