My H and I were talking about moving to Arizona. Would you reccomend any particular cities?

    Absolutely! I don't know how much you know about the area but Phoenix is a HUGE metro area. There are lots of suburbs to choose from. We live in the east valley which I highly recommend. The cities of Scottsdale, Tempe and Chandler are the best. Scottsdale and Tempe have a lot going on in terms of nightlife, dining and entertainment.

    The west valley has seen a lot of growth in the last few years with the new Cardinals stadium and Jobing arena being built in Glendale. I personally don't care for the west valley though. The heartbeart of Phoenix is on the east side.

    First I butchered your sn-sorry about that! Secondly, that information is very helpful!! Thank you so much. The housing market is AMAZING down there right now. We have been looking for a few weeks but have not made a decision so I am trying to get some research done on the area!!

    ::butts in:: I agree with christykell. I live in the east valley. I grew up in Tempe and loved it. In-laws live in Chandlelr and many families live up in Scottsdale. There's a lot of variety and depends what you are looking for.

    We want a town with good schools, low crime, a NIGHTLIFE!!, and good accessibility to work! Pretty vague be we don't have that where we live now!

    Chandler is gonna be your best bet. With Scottsdale and Tempe a close second IMHO!!

    Keep in mind, coming from CO, the summers are going to be a bit shocking. I moved here from Maine and I was like WTF is with this heat?!?! But I love it now!

    I have heard alot about the heat. Where I currently live, Pueblo, it is one of the hottest areas in Colorado. It get up to 95-105, here so hopefully not too shocking but I know AZ get much higher. That is one thing that might make or break the deal because we love the weather here. That sounds stupid but it is so unique!
