Trying to Get Pregnant

DH had a realization...

So, you know I'm on Clomid and while I'm waiting for AF to come, DH finally had a realization as far as Clomid is concerned.  "Hey, if your b/w is negative for ovulation on that certain CD, is it possible to ovulate on your own later?"

That's what I've been trying to explain to him all these months!  This was asked after he realized AF didn't come.  He had asked about my cycle lengths, so I told him the numbers and he even figured from the average, it should have already arrived by now.  Men...

  • Don't you love a husband's revelation that you have been trying to explain for a while?  Men are just a special breed. Wink

  • Haha, that's when you realized they have actually blocked out 75% of what you have said most of the time!

  • I know!!  I just loved him for that.  It was almost funny that I had to try and keep a straight face to confirm that his line of thought was right.  It was cute he was asking about my cycle history and he was trying to average it up for me to estimate when AF would come.  I told him, well honey, the only way we'd know for sure is if we are charting and temping...  "Like, for sure?  The average won't really work?"

I think this month is our 5th TTC.  All these times, I'm trying to explain to him and gave up probably 3rd month.  Then last night he asked this question.  I just had to laugh to myself thinking about it.

  • You'd think someone with a degree in engineering would want to look at charts and averages, nope!

Obviously not...  I give him a point for the effort though...  I think each cycle he learns something new.  On top of that, he even had a talk with my ute last night.  LOL.
