Mother's Haven-Encino

Has anyone heard about the new mommy classes at Mother's Haven in Encino? I am interested to find out what it entails.

I wanted to take the hynobirth class, but they cancelled it entirely

I took all my birthing classes there with Lauren Ryan.  They were great.  Also did the breastfeeding class, CPR and Taking Care of Newborn.  Breastfeeding was great.  Can't remember the name of the instructor.  The CPR class could have been accommplished in 1 hour, not the 3 the instructor used and Taking Care of Newborn was a waste of time.  Can't remember the woman's name but she spent the majority of time talking about her kids and all we really learned was how to give the baby a bath.

Also, if they try to talk you into the membership, I'd pass unless you plan to do a lot of shopping there.  For me, it was a waste of money.

Just another option for you..(.I can't really say anything negative about Mother's Haven!) is https://www.sweetpbaby.com.  I teach the Lamaze classes over there and all the classes are very warm and intimate...and fun!
