Dh and I were talking about income last night and what we though was a lot to be bringing home a month and stuff.. then I started wondering what the average $ people bring in... then I thought The Nesties!

I think it take home also has to do with cost of living in the area.  In the midwest a family can live on 3K a month, where in bigger cities this would not be possible.  We also paid 150K for a 2600 sq ft house which is unheard of in bigger areas.

I know it depends on where people live, to determine if they are well off or not... but I just wanted to know income of households everywhere..

My sis is a SAHM to 6 kids in OR and I know her DH makes 40-45k.
