I'm jealous! It's only 3:48 here....how we're more than an hour off is interesting...hahaha. I have two babies, & only need to feed one more at 6. If it's any comfort.

What time do you get off work? I am off at 7. I work on Peds Rehab, and my kid is actually an ortho medical kid, so VS q4 (and lots of pain issues) so that is making my night not sooo boring!!
I am supposed to work again tonight, but if my kid goes home, then we will have one and I have no idea what we are going to do then!! I mean it is supposed to be gorgeous today, but I have to sleep I have already had 2 1/2 days out of 5 off so far this pay period, so I really can't afford to take another one off, but I do have some PTO still so I could use it, but I don't get my night and weekend diff (which can make a huge difference sometimes)
Oh no! That's a total drawback to working in your unit. I missed out on two 70+ degree days the past two when I was sleeping. I hate that. I agree that missing out on night/weekend diff is a big deal! That's one of the reasons why I'm not going to days.
Today is a baby shower for two of my coworkers....one due in June & the other in July. I'm excited....they both got Chicco carseats ($180!) as a group gift. My coworkers are ridiculously generous!

How much longer to do you have on your degree? I love being a nurse, and my husband is an EMT on our vlo. fire department. Medical work of any kind is fun and so rewarding when you see people heal/ you know you made a difference in helping them.
It's 6:10am here. I'm also a night shift nurse. We don't have any patients so the two of us split the shift, each working 6 hours and taking 6 hours of call. I'm soooo sleepy.

Do you get to sleep? That would be lovely!
