NGPR: Anybody have an iPhone?

I turned my ringer off tonight using the switch on the side, and the switch actually broke off!  I didn't flip it super hard or anything.  I don't abuse my phone.  Has anybody else had this happen?  I'm pretty irritated.  Apple is closed already, so I have a call back scheduled for tomorrow.  AT&T pretty much told me "sorry toots, nothing we can do for ya."    This makes me sad.

I have one and that hasn't happened to me.  I know AT&T can be pretty useless for things like that.  I have had apple products most of my life, and they are usually pretty good about things.  Do you have insurance on you phone?  That always helps if they have to replace stuff.

AT&T doesn't offer phone insurance on the iPhone, and we just have the standard warranty that comes with it when you buy it.  But we just got these in October, so it's not like they're old and worn out or anything.  DH has one too, and his is still all intact and everything. LOL

I have no idea then  Sorry.  I can't even remember how long the warrenty lasts.

They should replace it for you.  Take it to the Apple store and explain what happened.

I havent had that happen, It sucks that we cant  get insurance on it.  Mine does freeze a lot and it makes me nuts!!

I had problems with mine freezing and I did a full reload on it and it turned out to be fine after that... just a pain to re-add all your apps after that.
