allergy meds and ttc

I read somewhere that the antihistimine can dry up cm. Anyone know if this is true or even that big of a deal. I was just diagnosed with allergies so its all new to me :)

    Which meds do you take?  I take Claritin (OTC) to control seasonal allergies.  I hope it doesn't dry up CM!

    I have terrible allergies and take Singulair and Claritin daily. My doctor said those meds were just fine for TTC. I have not had any issues with my CM drying up. I have heard that some cold medicines can dry up CM, but not an antihistamine. GL with your allergies - they can be awful!

    They can.  It depends upon your body and which allergy meds you take.  I have weaned myself off Zyrtec this season by using my neti pot every day and also eating 1 tablespoon of locally produced honey.  It's been great!  Good luck to you!
