Will taking something to help me sleep screw up my temp at all? or anymore than not sleeping since I haven't been lately? Please forgive me if this is stupid. It's late and I'm tired. I don't sleep!

I am wondering if a sedative will increase temps just like alcohol? A tylenol pm should be okay. My ob even said it was fine in ttc and pregnancy and shouldnt do too much to your temp
I would think Benadryl. I don't think it would mess with your temp, but tylenol is used to lower temps (I know higher fevers, but still a rise in body temp is a rise in body temp) so I would suggest leaving the tylenol out just so you can see even the slightest spike. Not that I think the Tylenol would hurt your chances of TTC, but it might mask even the smallest spike that you would have noticed otherwise. I might be thinking into it too much (nurse in me thinking!) but hey you never know! GL trying to sleep!
Mandee they said Tylenol PM was ok for when you're pg? I have the Tylenol "Simply Sleep" which is tylenol PM without the acetominophen... i sometimes take that when I can't fall asleep and I was curious if when I get KU I'll still be able to take it.
I am late to this post, but for future reference, when I have taken benadryl, my temps have been high the next day. I also took a xanax once when I couldn't fall asleep and same thing--temps were high the next day.

I am late here, but I wanted to let you know that I usually take Tylenol Cold/Sore Throat nighttime formula when I can't sleep and it has never affected my temps.
Good luck and I hope you are able to get some sleep.
I have a Rx for sleeping and have never experienced a rise in temps. I don't know off hand what I take so I would have to go home and repost if your interested. Its also safe while TTC, I don't take it daily but probably once a week or so now. (I used to take it daily before I corrected my sleep pattern).
Re: I have a stupid question
