"Positions" while TTC?

Does anyone use only a certain position(s) during sex while in your most fertile window?  I know it's important to make sure TTC sex is still fun and whatnot, and women have been getting pregnant with any and all positions since the beginning of time, etc etc etc.  I realize that.  But, I'm just curious if anyone buys into the "missionary is best" stuff that I have been reading about all over the internet.  Granted, I have also read online that there haven't been any studies to definitively say that any one position works better than any other, it would just seem by laws of gravity that for example if the woman is on top you wouldn't have as good a chance as conceiving.

I'd especially be interested to hear what some of the pregnant ladies on this board think since you (might) know what worked/didn't work for you!  Just curious...

This would be a good question for 1st Tri. However, I will say I've heard some people talk about doggie style doing the trick. In my opinion, though, as long as the penis is in the vag it's all good

I know...I just feel weird posting over there.  Although I guess posting to one board of strangers vs another shouldn't matter   Maybe I will do that.

I guess I was curious to see, for those of us who are actively trying, if anything is changed up or tried out during the fertile window to up the chances of conceiving (even though there are mixed reviews about it).  Kinda like the whole butt in the air thing after sex...Does it help?  I don't think it necessarily does, but I know there are still people who do it anyway.

I think any position where the penis is in the vagina will help.

Seriously, though,  I think I did read in TCOYF that girl on top is not recommended? We did it several ways in my fertile window the cycle we conceived, so not sure if one was "more effective."

We haven't really changed anything ... though I'm still in my first cycle, heading into the 8th week. DH does tell me not to pee for at least 20min after sex though, which is hard for me and since I don't know yet if I truly O ... it's just funny.

I got KU via doggie style.  I know this for a fact due to my wonderful charting   but I have to agree that any position with penis in vagina will lead to pregnancy...GL!

You're the 2nd person in this post to mention this, and I have heard this from a friend of mine who is KU too...Sadly, this is not a position that is, um, easy for us.    I think we need to try it again!!!!

Well, DH is much taller than I...and usually it just ends up being more awkward than enjoyable and we switch to something else!

It really doesn't matter.  Really - the sperm are shot out at a ridiculously high speed and will be deposited near the cervix however you do it.

Each time I've conceived we've had sex in multiple positions.  During this cycle's marathon, we tended to use our stand-bys, which are missionary and doggie - just easier and more convenient for us.

I have the same problem my DH is 6'4 and I'm 5'2.....use some pillows to prop yourself up ?a bit ?:)

maybe its just a fluke but Doggy style is what worked for me.

Candy-Mandy just got a bfp too and she mentioned the same thing

Reading this thread and realizing that missionary is the only way to go is going to make my DH very happy this week!  LOL!
