I'm always curious about the people who say that this is their "home board." Is it because your local boards (baby or non-baby) are not very active? [Poll]
I clicked that I still consider GP my home base, but I probably should have clicked other. DH and I have moved a lot and will move even more, so I don't really connect with a local board. But I will be TTC where ever we are, so I prefer it here.
When I originally started to post about my TTC journey we were not telling anyone about it. I was afraid I would "run into" someone I knew, so I would post here most of the time.
Posted here quite a bit for a few months, had a CP and became more of a lurker. (it was just hard for a while) 2 cycles after CP I became more active and am still acitve or as active as I can be at work.
I've only lurked a few times on the local bump board....doesn't seem too incredibly active. Plus, everyone seems to already have a baby or is PG, so not quite the atmosphere I am going for.
I live in OK and just relocated here last summer from NorCal. I have posted on both of those boards but actually consider the Hawaii Board my "home board" since I had a DW in Hawaii and have made some great, close friends with Hawaii Knotties who are now Nesties and Bumpies. That said, the Hawaii Bump Board is not going on at all...but the Nest Board is fine with the pg, ttc and non-BOTB gals altogether. It's a really great board!
I said other. I visit my local bump/nest boards and the 2nd tri... but this is where I've been the longest and have more connections with people... hence my "home"
Re: clicky poll: "home board"
I voted other. I've never been a local board kinda gal. I like to e-mingle with people from everywhere.
We have a local "main" board through the nest, and a local "baby/moms" board through the bump. Thus the two different types.
