Trying to Get Pregnant
New to the board
Hey girls, I am new to the boards. My husband and I are on our second month of trying currently. I would love to have somewhere to speak to people with information or just comfort about trying to conceive. I didn't think that I would be so emotional about not being pregnant this month, but I think that we tried everything we heard about and got our hopes up.
I would love for you guys to introduce yourself to me! I am 23 and I have been married for about one year. During the day, I work for the Dept. of Children's Services and at night I make wedding items for brides. My husband and I are now trying again. I don't care if its a boy or girl, just want a healthy baby!!!

It take the average couple 6months-a year to conceive.

It might be a bit difficult for everyone to introduce themselves, that gets asks quite often.

There is much to be learned from lurking and learning.

We're not presently TTC... but read Taking Charge of Your Fertility, Chart Lurk, and Google. There are many questions that are asked here that will answer your questions and Google is your friend!
TCOYF is a great book and highly recommended here.
Stay away from the words: 'preggo, preggers, and bd (many don't care for it)"

My best advice to you right now is to lurk, lurk, lurk. Reading previous posts can give you a great feel for the board dynamics and you can get to "know" people a lot just by observing. Also, we usually recommed the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility and checking out FertilityFriend.com.
