I know that if you take antibiotics when you don't need them, you could build up an intolerance. Is the same true for Xopenex? Emi has a recent prescription, so I know that it is the right amount. I want to give it to her, but don't want to go the pedi if not necessary.
So if I give it to her, and she doesn't really need it, could it cause her harm?
Ok great, thanks. I took her on Apr 3, and she was on the neb for 5 days. Then last week was her well visit, but turned into a sick visit b/c of a cold again. The pedi said at that point she didn't need the xopenex, but it seems to be getting worse. So I think I am going to give it to her this weekend, so hopefully we can have a well visit next week.
We are sooooo looking forward to spring in this house! Thanks again
Re: Bubbly
It's not a PITA. Trust me.
What's up?
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.

No, if anything she may eventually require a dose increase, but she won't become tolerant to it.
Is she sick again?? Poor baby girl.
