Trying to Get Pregnant
Hey All! (I don't think this posted - something wrong w/the bump)
Hello Ladies :-). Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 26 and dh and I were married in Nov. 2007. We live in the NYC area and both work in higher education at a university. This is our first month trying and I'm in 2ww now. Just trying to keep busy and keep my mind off of that fact, lol.
My English bulldog Wilma (see siggy) is the love of our lives right now and we're hoping and praying to make her a big sister :-).

English bulldogs are awesome!! Super friendly, big mushes and very funny! When we are home all Wilma wants to do is cuddle. Just beware... they can be stubborn. If they don't want to do something they won't! For example... if Wilma does not want to get out of bed she will groan and grunt if you try to move her and look away, lol. And if you do successfully move her (she weighs 42 lbs) she will just plop back down right where you put her.
No chart this month, but I will have one next month. I was on the fence about if I wanted to start charting right away or not. I am sure I want to now.
Forwarning:
I might become a bit obsessed with Wilma. What a face!!

How do you know you are in the 2ww then? I'm not trying to nit pick, but if you don't chart you can't know if/when you ovulated.

My period is due in 1 1/2 weeks. I'm a freak who has the textbook 28-30 day cycles. It was like this before I started bcp's and has been this way since I came off the pill.
So yes its true that since I didn't chart this month I don't know if or when I ovulated. I did get 2 days of lots of ewcm but without the temping I don't know if that meant anything or what happened. But since I know my period is due in 1 /12 weeks, this is my 2ww.

What's up with the siggy badges, though?
My siggy badges? Because they are from BNOTB? lol When I first joined the nest I started posting on that board. I had the baby fever but knew we were not ready yet. I've been posting on that board for over a year now and love it there. I still mostly hang out there but since we have now officially started TTC I've brought my baby fever and baby talk over here.
