I may be fishing a bit here or ranting or complaining not sure but oh well. I am 7 dpo and have none of the "symptoms" that I have had in the past at this time that indicate AF. I went googling this morning about hormone changes during your cycle and found some good information but here is what I am wondering...
When your body realizes that an egg has not been fertilized/implanted it stops producing progesterone and estrogen leading to your period...now is this the time your af symptoms start? or if you did have an egg that has been fertilized your hormones wouldn't change until implantation ...so you would not have any of your normal symptoms until implantation and the production of more progesterone and other hormones....
anyone that is pg not have any of their regular af symptoms? or symptoms showed up later than normal?
As you can tell from the latter this 2ww is killing me. I just want a BFP before all the stuff my gyn wants to do June 9th ugh
Re: fishing...kinda winded
my af symptoms & bfp symptoms were basically the same. you can not have any "pregnancy" symptoms until a few days AFTER implantation because the symptoms are from the rise in hcg & other hormones. I had different symptoms each month with af, but couldnt tell the difference between the months i got af and the month i was pg. The only difference for me was I typically started spotting at 7 dpo and didnt at all with my bpf cycle (however i was also on progesterone cream).
so in short, suck it up & be patient like everyone else.
The force is strong with 4realyo- good answer
yup! We can't tell you what any symptoms mean. We're just internet peoples. Good luck, I hope this is your BFP, though!
I didn't know everyone else was patient on the 2ww
I vote....a combo of ranting/complaining with a side order of fishing.
It's too bad that the 2ww couldn't instead be the 2wr (2 week rush).
But alas...... it is not.
Hope this is the one for you!
We are anxious, but know that 7 dpo is too early to get worked up about anything. You can just hold out for AF or the two lines. That is all you can do. Symptoms may or may not mean anything, but you won't know until one of those things happen, ya know??
Ya...
I know that 7dpo is too early but just overly anxious about the next two cycles so my biology mind gets going and takes over
isn't that the truth
I know exactly what you mean! I think at some point most of us have and symptoms we "swear" are different, but AF shows up, right on time. You'll be able to look back in 1 week and say, "oh, that was a symptom", or just chalk it up to nothing. I hope for your sake it is the first!
I am NOT patient; however, I have had my heart broken before in past cycles by doing this very same thing. I am only speaking from experience- you have to find ways to pass the time, or you will go insane month after month, and that isn't healthy.
My DH says the same thing. I was overly anxious about it cycles 1 through 3 took a break, but with the latest stuff I am back to where I started...I am going away for the weekend so that should help
You've gotta find a way to occupy your mind with other things--this stress isn't going to help make you any more pregnant.
Even if you are, you might just be implanting now, so no symptoms could show up.
I am a firm believer that the only symptom of pregnancy is a positive pregnancy test. Everything else is pretty much hormone flucuations that occur at that point in your cycle.
