After reading the TCOYF bible the 2nd phase of high temps the progesterone is released and the 3rd level of even higher temps is said to be the presents of HCG.
My temps this morning shot up again a bunch, which hopefully identifies the third phase. I will obviously continue to chart and hope they stay up like the book says they will. Besides the temps, I have minor boob tenderness and my face is breaking out a little. Those two signs alone were always symptoms when I became pregnant in the past.
I am testing on Saturday morning (just because we have a wedding on Saturday night and might want a drink or two) but it will probably be too early. However, if there is some HCG present I might get a very faint line. I plan on testing more accurately Tuesday or Wednesday at 11 or 12dpo. Tuesday I will be "late".
PLEASE send me some baby dust....and even more STICKY baby dust!!!
Re: Triphasic levels..7dpo :::::maybe!::::::
I really hope I?ve reached the third phase of the cycle...which doesn?t always happen with successful pregnancies but it?s a good sign of pregnancy. I discovered what it meant this morning when I had to look up what could cause my temps to shoot up even more.
My chart is on TCOYF trial and I haven?t figured out how to link it yet, but I will try after work.
Is anyone else familiar with the Triphasic levels?
Good luck!
At 7 dpo, implantation should only be happening now so there really isn't much if any hCG yet. Maybe you implanted a litle earlier than you thought.
This is what Fertility Friend says about triphasic charts. Good luck.
A triphasic chart shows three levels of temperatures: pre-ovulation, post-ovulation, and then a second rise around 7-10 days after ovulation. Some women with charts that show this pattern turn out to be pregnant. But many do not. Likewise, your chart does not need to show this kind of pattern for you to be pregnant. Whether or not you are pregnant, progesterone, the hormone responsible for raising your temperature after ovulation, generally peaks in the middle of your luteal phase and this can cause this kind of pattern whether or not you are pregnant.
A triphasic chart can be promising, however, because progesterone levels generally increase after implantation (7-10 days past ovulation) in conception cycles, and sometimes this results in a triphasic pattern. If your chart shows a second significant thermal shift that begins 7-10 days past ovulation, Fertility Friend will indicate a triphasic pattern in the Pregnancy Monitor. A triphasic chart, however, is not a definite sign that you are or are not pregnant. It is just increasing your probability if you also have well-timed intercourse. Likewise, you can be pregnant and not have a triphasic pattern. Like all signs of possible implantation or pregnancy, you can really only speculate about it once a pregnancy has already been confirmed.
Great! Thank you for posting that! Either way, could be a great sign!!!
I had triphasic when I got my bfp! Good luck. I may be workng on triphasic now too. we'll see if it stays up for me.
someone that graduated from here to SAL had triphasic too, and I can't remember who it was. oh my memory is terrible today.
