Pregnant after a Loss

Scared to death

I went to the dr today because I have been feeling a "bulge" in my canal for the past week. My dr. diagnosed me with uterine prolapse - basically my uterine muscles are too weak and my uterus has partially collapsed into my canal. The doctors are worried and have referred me to a high risk specialist. I'm on absolute bed rest until that appointment.

Anyone know anything about prolapse during pregnancy?

Maybe try the high risk pregnancy board??

GL, you and baby are in my prayers.  Take care of yourself.

  • No idea, but good luck! I'm glad you were proactive about it.

  • Oh how scary!!   I don't know anything about it, although I am guessing that you will have to have a c-section.  I would definitely check out the high risk board.

  • I don't have any experience, but wanted to wish you the best.  You and your baby will be in my thoughts.

  • Your uterus has prolapsed into your birth canal (i.e. the vagina)?  So your cervix is completely dilated then?  I am so sorry--this sounds terrifying.  Definitely check out the high risk board.  I will be thinking of you & praying for a good outcome.
