  • Lily, Rose, Poppy - love these.

Like Violet but wouldn't choose it for myself personally.

  • I would consider Rose for a middle name.  It's DH's grandma's middle name.
  • I like Poppy but DH is not a fan, I also really like Lilly but it would be weird with out last name. I think Hazel is also cute.

  • Violet. Definitely my favorite. Some of the flower names are pretty, but way overused (Rose, Lilly). And I do like Poppy, but it sounds like an Italian talking about their dad. (no offense to Italians, that's just what comes to mind.)

  • I reallllly like Calla.  I worked at a florist in high school and always thought Calla would be a pretty name for a little girl.

poppy is also one of my favorites.

  • I like Lily, Ivy, and Violet (and my great-grandmother's middle, which was Violetta).  I like Poppy too, but I don't think I'd have the guts to use it.

Related, I like Flora and Fleur.

One of the girls on my local board had a baby this week and named her Calla.

I like Lily (see screenname), Daisy and Poppy.

  • Violet, Calla, Fiala (it's a Czech name that means Violet - I considered it for a mn), Linnea, Flora, Laurel, Dahlia, Heather
  • In my above post you'd see we're considering Calla.  I think we may actually do her full name as Calla-Lily mn ln.  But right now I'm just naming air, so we'll see what we actually think when the time comes!

  • I like Lily and Violet. Rose is WAY too common!
  • Other than the most obvious Rose and Lily:

Azalea, Blossom, Camellia, Daisy, Dahlia, Flora, Forsythia, Jessamine, Poppy, Violet.

  • I vote Lily, or Lilly. Super cute.

  • I absolutely love Rose and Iris. I also like Violet, Lily and Linnea.
  • Not exactly a flower, but our dd's mn will be Ivy.

I once knew two little sisters named Rosemary and Delia. They were the cutest!
