Contraction attack yesterday

Yesterday was *not* a good day at all. I got off work and went to meet DH for his lunch break at CiCis pizza, afterward I was going by my moms to pick up presents dropped off by people that didnt make the shower. About half way from DH's work to my mom's house on the interstate, my tire blew out! This is the exact tire that I replaced on V-day, and was my only "new tire." So since DH is at work, I call my mom and she said she will send my stepdad to come pick me and the tire up and go get a new one. Well, shortly after hanging up I get the WORST contractions I have had yet. So bad that they hurt allll over my front AND back and at a point I almost passed out. If I put my hand on my tummy I could feel them release but it didnt feel like- as far as my pain- anything had let up. But that happened 6 times in the hour I waited on help. I almost passed out again and my stepdad got there. We drove to get a new tire, but even riding in the car was painful. On the way back (about a 10 min drive) I got in such pain that I had him pull over and threw up non stop for about 15 minutes... Lost alll my lunch :[ After that I felt a little better as far as pain, had 3 more contractions, no more near pass outs, and went back to normal! but this has me terrified of labor, because I was definitely squalling in the car... And my drs office says that more than 4 contractions in an hour is too many for BH... So I really dont know. Since I started feeling so much better I didnt call in, but I do have a drs apt tomorrow so I guess I shall see!
