Feeling guilty about the MOD walk

I posted a few days ago about Drake's sudden fever that corresponded to some severe constipation.

Welp, mystery solved - he has roseola. He broke out in the rash late yesterday.

I'm feeling terribly guilty because roseola is most contageous before the fever starts, and he started running a fever the evening of our MOD walk.  There were tons of little babies there, many of them with obvious, severe disabilities. And there we were parading around our little germ factory. :(

I know roseola isn't usually dangerous, and most parents wouldn't take their medically fragile kids to something so crowded, but man, I just feel terrible. I really hope he didn't get anybody sick.

  • Aww poor little guy! Don't feel guilty, germs happen. You didn't knowingly expose other children!

I wouldn't feel too guilty about it, I doubt many germs were jumping from stroller to stroller :)

  • aww.. you didn't do it on purpose.. and if there's anywhere where hand washing practices were probably PRACTICED, it was a MOD walk.
  • I wouldn't worry too much.  Like the PP said, it's a MOD walk so everyone there already knows how to wash up and knows that just going out in public is a risk.  You can't control everything and it wasn't intentional, how could you know?
