I need advice - 1 sick kid, 1 well kid

So Drake is on the tail end of roseola. He's feeling better today than he has since the weekend, but he's still not feeling well. He also woke up with a little cough today, so I think he's about to come down with something else.

Leo, is a wildman. He is more energetic than he has ever been.

Herein lies the problem. I want to take Leo to a splash pad to play today, but I feel terribly guilty about bringing sick Drake in public and smearing his sickie germs all around.

WWYD? Leo's going to go nuts on me if I don't get him out of the house today, and I think Drake would have fun too. He's not so sick that he doesn't want to play.

That is a tough one.  I completely understand your wanting to go and Leo NEEDING to go as well, but it is a tough call.

I guess I probably would not go just because I know how irritated I get when I go somewhere and someone has brought their sick child.  Then again, you KNOW no one else probably feels as guilty about these things as we do, and they probably do it all the time, and have their germy kids out there.

I suppose I really am not helping you make the decision, but wanted you to know I am sorry that Drake is not feeling well and you are stuck in this situation--it is so hard when one is feeling well and the other is sick--although I suppose it is worse when they are both sick.
