Pregnant after a Loss

Target bathing suits

Has anyone seen what they're selling?  Some of those bottoms are soooo unflattering.  Old Navy 's look a lot smoother on pregnant curves...but I guess those are shown on mannequins.  I guess I should be thankful that target shows an honest picture so I wont buy it...yikes.

Re: Target bathing suits

  • Yeah those don't look very flattering at all. I was just thinking I will need a maternity bathing suit this summer...that's a scary thought!

  • I got one at Target.  I agree the boyshort bottoms are kind of weird.  I ended up buying a skirted bottom - that's what I usually wear anyway and I figured I'd be more comfortable being as covered up as possible.  I love the tankini top I got; it's totally adorable. (It's the first one on the page - the black one). Also, the reason I didn't go with Old Navy is that their bottoms did not seem to offer much coverage at all. Since I'm going with the tankini, I did not want the bottoms to be so low-cut that part of my belly was hanging out under the tankini top.  I think that would actually be less flattering!
  • Ugh being pregnant all summer long in a sub-tropical climate is not going to be fun...I think we're definitely going to have to do a huge bathing suit post as the weather gets warmer Tongue Tied

I just started looking at maternity swimsuits as well.....so not looking forward to that. I was on Target's site last night and was thinking wow, 21.99 for the whole suit is good, then realize the top and bottoms are sold separately. WTF...like I want to spend a fortune on a suit I'm going to wear for one summer. I haven't tried any on....probably get one at Tagert or ON since they are cheapest. Wal-Mart has 3 online and I really only like one, but they are only $27 for the whole suit.
