? about dropping naps

For my sanity I have always tried to ge my boys to nap at the same time.  SOmetimes it works sometimes it doesn't....  My question is What happens when one baby is ready to drop a nap and one doesn't?

Also, I always thought that babies dropped their morning nap and it seems like this past week its getting harder and harder for my boys to drop their afternoon nap after I put them in their cribs I hear laughing, crying and talking.  They always sleep great for their morning nap, and its always 2 hours after they wake up in the morning much longer and they just fall apart.    I'm just worried b/c they get up from their morning nap anywhere from 10-11 and there is no way they will last untill they go to bed at 7:30.

  • My girls dropped their afternoon nap not the morning one.  When that happened, we moved nap time to noon.

Mine dropped their afternoon nap.  Their morning nap was already about 3 1/2 to 4 hours after waking and when they first went to one nap (and one did about a month before the other, it wasn't at the same time, unfortunately) it was still about 3 1/2 to 4 hours after waking so there was a pretty big gap between nap and bed but their nap gradually got a bit later so now it's about 4 1/2 to 5 hours after waking and then they're up about 6 or 7 hours before bed.
