Would you mind sending it my Mom's way?

She had major abdominal surgery yesterday and all seemed to go well; however, she's been feeling very weak since and it turns out she's lost enough blood to need a blood transfusion (internal bleeding?!)

It's killing me to be far away from her during this time (she's in another state and traveling with a newborn wasn't really an option for me; he hubby's with her, though), so any good thoughts you can send her/our way would be most appreciated.

Sorry you can't be there with her - it must be stressful to be so far away.  She's in my thoughts.  Hope they find and stop the source of the bleeding and the transfusion makes her feel better.

I know exactly how you feel. My mom had colon cancer surgery (18" of her colon removed) while I was 4000 miles away in England. I was able to see her a couple of weeks later, but it was still hard.
