the girl knows her body, her docs did say it was "ok" but they don't like to see people do it, she kept her heartrate low, she stayed hydrated and she's not a novice.
would i do it? no- because i don't believe in running. lol.
I still can't imagine going against my doctor, unless she doesn't ever agree with her doctor, you know? Especially since she is 38 and this is her first child. I guess maybe she didn't have an issue getting pregnant? I would totally want to keep running through my pregnancy, but if my doctor said I shouldn't do a marathon, I would listen. We'll see if she responds.
Re: ???
meh- i have no qualms with it.

Holy crap. That is amazing.
I can't even qualify for Boston in general. Let alone run it while pregnant.
And I agree with t.bird. This chick was not a novice and was monitoring everything closely the whole time i.e. heartrate, etc.
This just proves my already strongly held belief that people who run marathons are insane.
She ran about 10:30 minute miles...a pretty slow pace for the nutjobs who run it.
kudos to her for staying in that kind of shape.
BFP for me was my excuse to stop feeling bad about neglecting the treadmill. I'm a slacker.
