RP: Adjusted age?

I read (maybe on this board?) that drs. do adjusted ages for babies born as late as 36 weeks.  Is that still true for multiples?

What has your dr. said is "term" for twins?  I can't remember what my dr. said.  He has talked about "34 weeks and we won't stop labor," "36 weeks _______ (something -- maybe term?)," and "scheduled c-sec only as early as 38 weeks".

Thanks!

Re: RP: Adjusted age?

  • I don't know about twins but my ped does not adjust for my 36 weeker.  He was a big baby though and was a "breather" in the NICU rather than a "feeder grower" so I am not sure if that makes a difference.
