2nd Trimester
awkward
So a few weeks ago when we found out we were having a boy, this really sweet old lady who works at the front desk asked us what it was and we told her, and without hesitating she says, "Ooooh, you're going to be dads! So cool!!"
What do you say to that? We just kind of smiled. I think I remember her telling us at our previous visit that we were going to find out if we would be moms or dads, but I thought she must have misspoke. Nope. She must do that to every patient! How embarrassing!

confused old woman thinks sex of baby determines sex of parents. let's hope she doesn't handle any sensitive material.
haha yeah she thinks if you're having a boy, then both parents are dads, and if it's a girl - both are moms.
the one complaint i do have about this practice is that the people at the front desk seem less than competent. thankfully, the doctors are all really good.
