I think we have almost decided what our boys names will be, but then I know we still have to decide which name goes with which boy... did you decide in advance A vs. B's names, or did you "know" when you had them and looked at them? I was just curious... especially since one has my Dad's name as a middle name and the other one has DH's name as a middle name...
I can't wait to meet these guys!!
Re: How did you decide which name for each twin (same sex)
We waited until we were able to get a good look them..lol. My DH and I actually agreed right away on who was who.
Good Luck!!
the 2 names we have picked out are fairly similar- they don't make me think of any certain personality type vs. the other... so we decided we didn't need to meet them before deciding.
one of the names we picked has A as a 3rd letter, and the other has B as the 3rd letter - so we decided to go with that for baby A and B.... just makes it easier
knowing they might switch the letters at birth- we're still going with what they are in utero... "rightie" will get the A name no matter what, and "leftie" the B name.
though we don't call them by their names now... just leftie/rightie.
We were those crazy indecisive people who were still debating names while in the hospital (not recommended!), but I actually gave in to DH on names because those he chose fit... and it was actually pretty clear which baby went with which name.

One of my guys was in serious trouble en utero, and he just had to be named for my grandpa, who is the healthiest person I have EVER met. My grandpa didn't see a doctor from the time he enlisted in the army when he was 18 until my uncle's new wife tricked him into going when he was in his early 80s. My grandpa also retired from a very physical job with never once taking a sick day. So for us, it was obvious who needed that name
It turns out that we totally named them right. The dude named after my grandpa is a michevous little charmer (just like my grandpa), and the other guy is much more mellow.
now i am going to try to guess, you know.

In the NICU Or nursery your babies will be labeled A and B in BIRTH ORDER regardless of how they were labeled on the u/s during your pregnancy.
We decided that we'd name the girls in alphabetical order in birth order - that made it much easier for the nurses/docs to remember their real names. Alison was A, Anna B, Morgan C. That way they tended to call them by their real names vs A, B and C.
We were undecided until I was in labor at the hospital. I told DH that "righty" seemed to be Will and "lefty" seemed to be Cole - when we saw them the names fit them perfectly!
We decided ahead of time - which was a little funny when I completed the birth certificate info for Baby A, Baby B and Baby C and then I found out that they may not be pulled out that way. Right before my c-section, I asked my doctor to pull them out as A, B, C. I know, I could have changed the paperwork.
Baby A was named for my grandmother
Baby B (who has some medical issues) was named for my great aunt who was a nun and our first daughter
Baby C - eeeh, long story there.
I can't imagine them with their names swapped.
We named them right away in the belly.
Baby A is Jaxon patrick
Baby B is Mason Reiley
We named them while I was still carrying them. Actually DH did. Lorelai was Baby A. She was bigger, stronger and loved to kick me where it counts so we gave her the feistier name. Madelyn was smaller and more delicate....the one we worried so much about.
They match their names perfectly too.
Baby A is named after DH and Baby B after my dad.
We always knew what we wanted to name them even before they were born. Baby A was mr. laid back and still is just like DH. And baby B was more fiesty just like my dad haha.

We decided before the girls were born. Baby A was always the "quieter" baby in utero...and Baby B always seemed to be kicking up a storm...so we thought their names kind of suited them.
Olivia being more serious...and Ella being a little more active/outgoing.
I always liked having a name to each baby when I was pregnant....I think it helped me bond with them before I got to meet them!
