Post Baby Belly....

How long did it take your baby belly to go away after having DC?  I am just curious. I can't remember from our first son.....

Mine took about 8 weeks total to be back to normal, but my hips/thighs are still working on it! Now go have that baby already! LOL- totally kidding, but you need a new ticker that says you aren't 500 years pg!

I gained 50lbs with DS1 and my belly went away very quickly. At my 1 week pp appointment, i was wearing pre-preg clothes. THey didn't fit the same at that point, but they still fit. I think i was in the minority though because my dr seemed fairly surprised.

I'm on the taller side though (5'7" and was a pre-pg size of 6). So I think i had more vertical room to carry my weight.

I didn't look pregnant after delivery, like a lot of women do. My belly was like a deflated balloon. Gross. But my sister looked 7 months pregnant after delivery and it didn't go down for several weeks, it seems. So, everyone's different. 

But it's been almost a year since I had DD#2, and I'm beginning to think my skin will never recover. I'm losing weight, but it's only making the "texture" of my lower belly more obvious. To me, anyway. It's all I see when I look in the mirror. Yuck. I think the skin is just destroyed. =o(
